Atlas of Realities Sagunto (Architecture after Speculation)

Book chapter ‘Atlas of Realities, Sagunto’ by Jorge Valiente / Collaborators: Amparo Primo Pastor Editors: Regina Bittner, Sabine Muller Publisher: Spector Books

After the Bauhaus Lab 2013, the work of the participants was exhibited and later on published in this book. It belongs to the collection of coffee-table-books of the Bauhaus Foundation, being this the first English written book of the series.

Bauhaus Lab 2013 is a platform for collaborative learning, research and design, invites young designers to develop critical positions, counter models or even projects that engage with the implications of speculative forms of urbanisation. The four-month, thematically-focused programme addresses young professionals from the fields of architecture, design, curatorial practice and art who have already completed a course of study and wish to engage in a critical research-based experimental design practice. Here, young designers can work in experimental constellations, in which they test diverse methods and strategies of research-based design in a specific practical project.
